Lincoln Heritage Clean Sheeting

A client I met with yesterday responded to their TV ad back in April. They took an app for 10k,$59.30 monthly premium and told her she would get 1st day coverage, and she mailed a check for the 1st premium.

She is 66,on insulin.

There was no insulin question on the app. I was a little surprised.

She had not received a policy, the app was dated 4/23.

I smelled a skunk right away so we called and discovered the policy was issued modified on 6/5,decreased face,$5798.

Needless to say,she was not very happy.

She never got a phone call from the agent telling her her plan was modified, and she was stalled, screwed around since late April.

Easy replacement.

I need to fax in the cancellation so she can recover her 1st premium.

Anybody have their fax number for policy holder services ?

Insulin wouldn't have made it a modified. Something must have popped up on the script check that was on the modified list.

They should have received their policy sooner. If it was adjusted to modified the agent would had to have the client endorse the new plan.

I have their policy service number I'll send it to you.

When we did the phone interview, nothing popped up on script check so we will see if the find something once it hits UW.

Ha, Doug you are not the first to do something like that.

Back in the day we did the same thing to AL Williams Agents just to get a rise out of them....

Ever get in an pro life argument with the church lady.... That was like meeting the AL Williams Agent back then.

Funny stuff Bro.

Something not right here, if the app is dated 4/23. When was the draft date?
Why was it modified on 6/5 ? which is just a week ago. Policy probably would not be available by your visit. Did the agent approve the adjusted policy without her knowing ? Something really fishy here.

I explained to him who I was, handed him $40 for the cost of the lead, and let him know that what he was doing was going to get him reported. He stated that he had already been reported once, and recently, had to do an interview with the state. lol

He explained that this is how he was taught to sell and that he was licensed 2 years ago and been with LH for a few months and was already one of their top producers.

I wonder how well this agent sleeps at night and the agent who did the training.:1baffled: No wonder the insurance business is one of the most highly regulated industries.

As the fictional Texas Ranger Gus McCrae said in Lonesome Dove... "You know how it works Jake, you ride with an outlaw, you die with an outlaw. I'm sorry you crossed the line."

Hang 'em!
