I've lost cases to clean sheeted apps, but don't like the idea of knowing someone will not collect if they kick it, in two years.
Rather than starting a new thread, I would like to ask the full time and near full time FE agents, if they think that they're making less $$ by not clean sheeting?
I agree 100%. I'm sure the imo is feeling it. Their persistency must be terrible. That business model would make for a ton of agent debt and charge backs. I don't see them being in business for very long.
I wouldnt blame LH agents alone, their are many agents from all over especially in South Florida, just to make a few dollars will do anything to make a sale. The customer is just a pawn all they want is to get an app in and get paid and sheeet can come next.
Had one agent telling my customers this week that thei rAmerican Home Life FE policies were no good for burial insurance. One can only guess the reason for this.
In March I met a lady with a 5 year old 5K AARP whole life policy on her 77 year old father.
I didn't discuss replacement, just gave her my congratulations on being wise to take out the policy at that time and to run any agent that wanted to replace it.
My sale pitch was just to add to it., which she took out $2500 more coverage.
He passed away last week. I know the 5K is good , just waiting for the insurance company to look at the last policy contestability issues if any exist.
Went into another house recently and saw Agentguy5 had just written a policy the day before and the guy asked if it was a good policy I said yes it was and the agent was a good guy and big up Agentguy5 . He was receptive to hear about replacement but I tell him he is covered an to keep his coverage which was just a day old.
Some agents who are broke and desperate will do anything to ge the AP for the day.
I think I understand the how this agent( op) got his name, just wondering where he buried the bodies for 1-4. I dont think I would have been as generous and would have insisted on (at minimum) the average value of each presentation given rather than the price of the lead...opportunity cost ya no. Talking about taking the log out of your eye.....had to address the elephant in the room

Nice first post. I'd say his presentation had zero value to anyone, except maybe the compliance dept of LH & the DOI? I wish Doug had videoed the whole thing.
You do realize, no matter what screen name you use, it's hard to figure out what you are saying! lol
But I think you were trying to ask, "What is the average value of a presentation that is made by an agent, who is all about clean sheeting?"
LH does a script check. They also have an option to do a phone interview. Most of my agents do the interview and the script check in the house.
10 years ago it was easy to clean sheet. Now I don't know how any agents can clean sheet in FE. The companies are all covering their *** now. Too many bad agents in the FE market over the years
Even if a company had relaxed underwriting I don't think an agent should clean sheet or that the company is "asking" for clean sheeting.
