Specifically with an IMO who mails out the MOO policy after approval/issue.

Thanks in advanced.

We do this for our agents by default since we're a telesales agency. Policy sent to our office and we mail it to your client on your behalf.

I'm curious, why not have the company send it directly to the client? Are you adding something about your agency to build referrals etc.?

With MOO, you can't change this for one agent. Either the IMO has to pick that ALL of their agent's policies get mailed to the client or to the agent.

I pick agent since some like to deliver and the ones that don't have never had a problem with throwing the policy in the mail to the client.

Jeff, does your staff deal with chasing down the delivery receipts?

In my case, I have all policies sent to me. xxxxxxxxx. I want my branding. I want them to call me, the serving agent. A sticker with my contact info goes on the policy and on the folder. My delivery letter. A couple of business cards and a magnet card.

These are my clients. I fully expect that I will be writing them and their families again.

If I AOR a policy or unofficially AOR a policy I send them a sticker to to put on that policy also. The only exception is when I am referred in by another agent.

Yes. If not e-delivered (MoO doesn't eDeliver), we scan them down and email them out in Docusign for easy signatures and follow up on behalf of the agent.

Like Bboman says you have to pick a delivery method with MoO. We decided to do it this way so we can Docusign delivery reqs since we're telesales.

I am a new convert to Edelivery. I came kicking and screaming into it but love it now. Especially if there is an amendment. Policy goes issue paid before I would even receive the policy in the mail.

Docusign - I am so behind the curve on this. I have been asked twice in the last two weeks if I could send something with esignature. Both times they were people in their late 60s.

Where he works if the default is mail to agent then he HAS to deliver the policy before they were even draft premium or released Comission.
