:mad:Did you see the timeline for Medicare Advantage? This would be for October 2011.

10/2011 - Creates a single Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) for drug and health plan changes,
which begins on October 15 and ends on December 7.
Open Enrollment Eliminated.

P.O.P.

It already sucks to be an agent selling Part C plans. I didn't think it could get any worse. Fooled the hell out of me.

What is your source for that information?

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act HR 3590.

Google it and read it.

I have!!!

Have you?

:laugh::laugh::laugh:

I don't see an exception for dual eligible. Everyone is in the same boat.

Sucks for agents and beneficiaries. Another reason that those who vote for the health bill are morons.

Whew!! That will make me change my plans for Mexico next October. I'm already booked for the 6th-16th this year.

Quit selling it already! It's on its way out.

Med Supps. Med Advantage is a garbage product. Always has been.

Med Advantage, like everything else, can be a fantastic product. At $0/month, $0 copay at PCP, $5 at specialist, $0 inpatient hospitalization, RX card, vision benefit and silver sneakers you think that's a garbage product? As opposed to a $145/month plan f plus $35 for an RX card? With around $2k/year in savings it sounds like a stellar plan to me. (yes, those are all real numbers).

At this risk of being rude, it doesn't seem like you know much about Medicare Advantage programs.
