Well go ahead and think when my son turns 16 he won't have a GPS in the car so I can track his ass....and see his speed.

I had a friend who shared custody of her child with the dad and was afraid that he would take her to Mexico. So she put a GPS tracker in her favorite stuffed animal so that she could track them. When the dad found out he was furious. The courts said that she had the right to track her daughter even while in his custody.

When my son is older he will have a GPS tracker in his car, his cell phone, anything that I can put it in.

So - anyone here with kids - if you could have a chip planted in your kid would you? Missing, kidnapped, etc....you'd be able to find them. Think we're far away from having the option of implanted chips? Probably 10 or so years away.

Hate to say it but I would actually miss my kid more than my dog (now all you PETA-types just calm down!)
I don't really have a problem with the implant in the kid. I bet that girl's parents (Georgia abductee) wish they knew where she is. The pain is unimaginable.
