Just send her one with a return envelope. Show her you take care of her. You want her to remember you, not Monumental. IMHO

I write a fair amount of business off of Bene changes.

If I had one I would have done that in the first place, but thanks for reminding me know to order some for myself. It might be on the agentnet site come to think of it. I just got licensed with them so I am not sure.

I just logged onto the site and found it, thanks for the advice. I am heading in that area where she lives on Tuesday and will take care of it with her.

When i fill in bene forms I always ask DOB, Address, Phone and email. Then offer to contact the benes so they will know who to call. They normally thank me for going out of my way.

That is another great way to offer quality service. Thanks again for the expert advice. When I was delivering med sup policies I would ask them if there was a relative that would take care of them when times where bad or when there health conditions have changed to the point that they would need help. I would ask the client for that persons name much like they are the beneficiary of a life policy. It got some referrals along the way which was a bonus.

Pre set apts are very costly and only work for a short period of time and they have to be done in a good volume area, not rural...

When they work right, they are a gold mine, I made the most money in my career when the worked...that is the key...it only took about 3 months to go through the greater Detroit area before we ran out of names and people that would want to set an apt.

Anyways, this guy is spamming the forums for his service..not a good way to run his business.

Re: Monumental and Their Ridiculous Univita PHI

I havent had much problems with Monumental besides them being a D*ck about mailing you the policy if there's an amendment (even if u print it off & get it signed beforehand) and of course all those damn amendments...which brings me to my next point!

I just had a policy submitted preferred & they changed it to standard after the RX chk. They emailed me to ask if they client will accept...they did, it was only a $2 difference for a child. So, Im waiting for the amendment to show up on my back office....and WHAM, no amendment, status changed to "Inforce"! My jaw drops, that NEVER happens without an amendment if somethings been changed, never! Has Monu gone soft? Have they changed they amendment policy? I expect to be paid on it tomm.

Anyone exp this??

Re: Monumental and Their Ridiculous Univita PHI

I haven't had any issues with Monumental yet - except it takes forever to get policies back so I can deliver them. I write extensive notes on the app to assist underwriting.

Ran into a case last month with a client taking Bumex for water retention. It was on the bad list for both RNA and Americo. After taking to Americo underwriting, they might take her as UP1 with a Drs. note otherwise a UP3 or possibly a UP2.

Placed her with Monumental and got their preferred rating. Bumex incidentally on another carriers script list is also used for hypertension.

JD who are you using for COPD? Also, I know Am Con is on the EFES website but that was not presented to me as an option for Shannon's group.

I use Monumental for immediate coverage for COPD. At least i offer it. I haven't had any takers.

You need to talk to your marketer about the AmCon contract. I suppose your upline also has to be with them? I don't know if Shannon writes them or not. They are my favorite company to write. If they had better rates I would make them my primary company.

Speaking of using Monu for COPD, I dont understand how they accept it. It asks if there's been any treatment for COPD in the last yr.....then it asks in the last 2yrs in a diff section. Even without oxygen, dont ppl with COPD still have meds they take, which would be considered treatment right??

Or maybe ur only referring to ppl with COPD with no oxygen & no meds & have had it over 2yrs....which if that exists, I have never come across. Pls clarify, thx!

They can answer YES to one question on that part and get approved as Standard with Monumental.
