New Agents: Avoid Ritter IM

I think a curse word is a fair market response to such crappy comp.
Some people are thin skinned. F*ck is a commonly used word in this day and age. I wouldn't say it to most people that I'm doing business with...especially little old ladies. Hell, my Dr. uses the word. Should I act like a Snowflake and change doctors? :)

What the f*ck.

You proudly represent the primal traits most of us aspire to, yet society tells us we shouldn't be. Deep down, we all want to be foul mouthed, pot smoking apes.

Prob got tired of dealing with people whose homes smell like urine, whose windows are yellow-tinged from cigarette smoke, who have stray cats wandering in and out of their run down trailers, etc. So instead now he's a final expense agent and...

Wait a minute...

LOL....Yep !

Just found out recently that Ritter IM "re-activated" my contract with them for Aetna Health. I haven't had anything to do with Ritter for 6 years and have had no contact with them whatsoever since then, let alone submitted any kind of contracting with them. I even live in a different state that I wasn't even licensed in when I worked with them. Aetna broker services has been no help on this whatsoever.

I'm wondering how the hell an IMO can do this. I'm in the process of trying to get set up to broker MA plans for 2020, but I will have trouble doing that when I'm already appointed with another IMO for one of the major carriers. I hope Aetna doesn't deny me a release from Ritter when I did not request to be "re-activated" with them.

That would be BS. If it were me and you don't get a release, I wouldn't have anything to do with either one of them.

Have you reached out to Ritter directly for a release yet or to ask how this happened? I'm wondering if maybe you had/have an upline above you that's with them that appointed you without your knowledge.

Ritter is usually good about releases. It may just have been an error.

I called Aetna Broker Services the other day after I looked at my appointments page on the TX Dept of Insurance website and saw an appointment with Aetna Health from earlier this year. The woman I spoke to there said Ritter had "re-activated" my appointment with Aetna Health through them. I will look into this further, thanks!
