Those that lost family members, et al, in the 9/11 terror attacks are outraged at the stoppage of existing trials of terrorists. Who could blame them, but again, where is the surprise really...? This attitude and intent was well telegraphed.

Taking steps to stop offshore drilling, which will include drilling in western shale, is underway. This ban expired last year, and due to the outrage of the American public when congress talked about reinstating them, congress backed off from that stance. Apparently Obama is delivering on his markers that follow him from the environmentalists. The squawking will begin again once gas eclipses 3 bucks per gallon again. That shouldn't be far off.

So where is it that the sheeple in this country learned about being dependent on others?

I am not an Obama fan but this speaks more to our society today that 1 word misplaced in the oath could cause people to say that Obama was never sworn in correctly and this second oath covers that....

True... about the oath and missed word. There is the constitutional opinion that even if there was NO oath, the elected pres takes offc when the clock strikes Noon. The oath, bible, ceremony are for the emotional ritual of it all.

Some folks may be tuned in a little too tightly on the black helo theories... And I am No BHO fan either... but the error was made by Chief Justice Roberts... some say this is the first error that he has made in his life, being the proverbial straight A student...

Those that are worked up about this will have lots more to concern themselves with in the coming weeks, months and years.

Revelations speaks of a reknowned marketer (Oprah) getting a remarkably charismatic public speaker into office (Obama) that will unite the world before revealing his true intentions. I'm definitely not a Bible thumper, just restating what I saw on a Discovery channel show about the antichrist. I also would like to point out that I voted for McCain. Never in the history of America has someone with as little experience as Obama had so much support. It's almost like a revolution.

It is called The Great Society... eradicating poverty, etc. enacted by Lyndon Johnson in 1964-65. Things like:
Job Corps, Operation Head Start, Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA), Medicaid, and Medicare, all came from that initiative. It changed how some think about personal responsibility.
