when I was in college this guy played at every wine and cheese bar in NYC
As a wise philosopher said: "Band -Aids dont fix bullet holes, you say sorry just for show. If you live like that, you live with Ghosts. If you love like that, your blood runs cold"
Did not peg you as a K-Dot or Swifty fan, Allen.
When I was in college there were blues bars all over Manhattan, you could hear live music for free anywhere.Man, you're a few years ahead of me but I would have loved to be in the NYC music scene back then.
I didn't make it down there until the late 90s and by then, a lot of the live music venues were replaced with clubs (I love EDM too but not the same as those intimate concerts).
Very cool.
That's so awesome. When I was in college there were blues bars all over Manhattan, you could hear live music for free anywhere.
I remember one night my friend and I were drinking in a bar called Dan Lynch 13st and 2nd ave. My friend says that guy up front looks like Joe Jackson....then the guy jumps on the stage and did a 2 hour show.
I ended up becoming friendly with one of the Ramones and when they played local, I would ride the bus with them.
The bass player DD who I was friendly with, did a solo album and put me in the video.
My name is also on his album cover.
Strange route to end up in the insurance business
