Old Liberty National agents?

Probably name recognition(Globe is a better known name now than the others), and the fact that Torchmark doesn't have the best reputation. Similar to Conseco, more or less getting rid of their tarnished name and using the Washington National name.

Is AIL out of McKinney now too?
I think AIL is still being run out of Waco.

What's the problem with Torchmark's reputation? I've noticed that (like Conseco) they seem to have a somewhat negative complaint record with the state across all their subsidiaries. Is there something else?

Liberty National has many lawsuits in their past(by policyholders), and Torchmark has a history of ruining good companies...Globe Life and UA for example. They're about profit only.

Yeah, I had a feeling they'd be bad news. Several years ago I was all set to write for UA, but I couldn't shake the feeling that it would be a mistake.

In my area UA has the lowest cost for a female T65 Plan F. They also just lowered their rates for Plan N making them the lowest for that plan too.
