Opinions on Need-A-Lead

Hey all I'm been scouting around for a new lead source due to my Social Insurance Facebook leads being awfully slow at the moment. We're talking weeks to fill a 30 lead order. I have been looking at DM but a few mailing houses were out bc I wanted a fixed price lead to minimize risk at least initially and they seem to fit the bill. A little googling has turned up some people saying that there's a lot coming back in the 80-85 age range with NAL but haven't heard much else negative. As a newer agent I planned to use a specific lead card that actually used the words 'life insurance'. Opinions on NAL or even DM vs Facebook in general? Anyone think I should use a different company? Do per thousand drops instead of fixed price? $32 didn't seem terribly unreasonable.

Need a Lead is a very good lead vendor. But not the fixed cost part. They are great with price per 1000 piece mailing. Their ordering system is top notch and lets you choose any options you want.

Any lead vendor that tries to do fixed price without having on a contract for a weekly ongoing lead order is not going to perform well for you. It just doesn't work that way. So they are going to heavily mail to the highest responding ages (the too old and you young ones) that everyone wants to screen out.

I would advise either doing price per 1000 mailers with Need a Lead or get with an agency that actually does set cost leads with a mail house like RGI.

You could give me a call. If you are in an area that we don't have agents I have been known to do a set price lead with a few agents that are not completely with us. But you would have to commit to a set number of leads every week. No stopping, starting, stopping, starting. It has to be consistent. But you would be guaranteed that all leads are between the ages of 55-79 or at a higher cost ages 60-76. You are also guaranteed that any blank cards that are returned are free. I tried to speak with Brady about his fixed priced leads before, but the problem with him is that he goes to the extreme in trying to convince you that leads coming from 80-85 year olds are just as good as any. That is a clueless statement by him. Don't do fixed priced leads with him!

A few yrs ago i told him i'd pay $1 more to mail 50-80 and he refused.A full 15% of the leads are ages 80-85 and most just can't afford it . I did like having the actual colored card to door knock as he used to mail them back weekly. As Chris at lead connections will back out of a fixed price if he doesn't get a good response on a mailing

Social insurance leads

You seem to be doing everything you can not to take good advice. No matter where you are it should not take more than a couple of days to fill an order of 20-30 FB leads. Order them from calendarleads.com an you will get them quickly.

If you want DM, then drop per 1000 on your own or get with an IMO llike 360 with @SPUR CITY or FEX Contracting with @Newby

You keep coming here and say "hey, I tried to re-invent the wheel and it didn't work. What should I do"

And you get "good advice good advice good advice" from multiple folks who have done this successfully, and your response is "You're right ... let me reinvent the wheel."
