Producing Leads from Website

Good Stuff!! :) Design your Senior Site to be very Educational and informative and understand How to optimize your site correctly!!! Some fail to understand the importance of this.

They assume that their PPC or whatever will drive the traffic, if you dont have the searches, or are not targeting the correct searches, you cant create traffic. Too many are mesmerized by their own systems and $10.00 impressive terms and titles.

It takes me about 2 seconds looking at a site, to see if the owner or builder has a clue of proper tags.

If I see the below tag, I have to laugh!!! Especially if I see this from a business that claims to understand Website Optimization, Google must get the same impression also.

<meta name="robots" content="index, follow" />

"Be Unique" in the Marketplace. www.Over65Insure.com another one of my "Trinket Sites"

Getzer928,
A few years back websites were mere business cards holding the address and phone number. As you know, Internet users have become sophisticated nowadays.Though seniors and retired baby boomers are not that tech savvy, they do look forward to useful, easy to understand information on the websites they are visiting. Since your website is not a simple landing page, you need to add more content and make it more professional. Even if you do that, as the discussion shows, there is no guarranty that your web page will be served up on Google first page. That's where traffic generating techniques such as SEO and PPC come into play. Yes, website building is a time taking process, unless you engage professionals; but the cost may go up significantly! There is plenty of free information on the internet; unfortunately, it is overwhelming for starters! As far as you don't depend on the website for immediate returns, you can do the groundwork and build it up over a period of time.

As you might have noticed in other threads, there are businesses starting on the internet overnight and threatening the long established companies. Unlike traditional brick and mortar businesses, internet businesses can ramp up fast and produce results, if they invest large amount of money in technology.
