Selling for Multiple IMO/FMO'S

I think your situation's just a tiny bit different than most. You have a longstanding relationship with Travis and Scott. You've said yourself, that if Travis wasn't involved with Fex that you'd still be at EFES.

Like I said, to each his own. Scott has admitted that Fex is semi-captive because he expects all, or at least most of your contracts. If you're happy in that arrangement then I'm happy for you. :)

P.S. I'm glad you like yourself and think you're a great guy. LOL

There's no way they are captive, even semi, if they give unconditional releases.

Nor is my situation any different than other agents with FEX. They can be released too. I don't know of a single agent that asked for a release from FEX that didn't get it.

Now I'm not privvy to all that have asked but you can bet we would have heard about it had one been denied.

Yes, Scott has said that semi captive thing but travis has also said that is wrong. I'll go with Travis on that one since no one is held captive at FEX. Semi or otherwise.

There would at least ten threads on the forum slamming them for not honoring their release policy?

So then, you're saying that Scott was wrong to fire JG (for everyone on the Forum to see) for wanting a release on one contract? :)

Scott never fired JG for requesting to move one contract. Scott called JG twice to suggest that he move under Ben since they had become best friends and Ben had the same contracts available that he had with us.

JG never took my calls. Then JG goes public on the forum saying he had been trying to be released for two weeks and wouldn't release him. It had been 2 days from his first email request and I had called him twice.

I gave him no choice to stay with us because I considered that aisles attack on our character.

I'm not going to participate ion 20 pages of back and forth but if JG can produce an email that is dated two weeks prior to him coming on the forum with that I'm man enough to publicly apologize. But I'm pretty sure I'm correct in which case I think I'm owed the apology.

So you're saying that Scott fired JG because Scott wanted all of JG's contracts and because JG was friends with Ben?:err:

Wowie Kazowie...so you tell an agent who he can have his contracts with AND who he can be friends with! If that's not captive, then at best it's a very controlling environment. If someone was telling an INDEPENDENT AGENT who he could be friends with, I don't blame him for not answering the calls. I wouldn't want to listen to that nonsense either.

Ugh... can we please not bring this soap opera back up!!!

Reminds me of the show Dallas and who shot J.R. or in this case J.G.

OMG........somebody shot JG? :err:

I'd say JG jumped the gun on bringing his dirty laundry to the forum and that could have possibly escalated the situation. I have my fe contracts spread out, some are with fex so I know they aren't captive.

But do you get to listen to "The Call"?;)

I agree about airing dirty laundry on line, but both parties participated...not just JG.
