    Wow this is all great information, I have one question though....

    I have created my site with Joomla and use MyBlog which is built right into the main site and is set up on a navigational link. Should I consider setting the BLOG up as a sub-domain and if so what are the reasons for this?

    The name of the game is links in my opinion. All other things being equal, most of the time the site with more links will appear before yours.

    I think I'm going to add a few links. Tough to find the PR6-8 (I have tried to add them already)ones though. Plenty of 0-5 out there.

    I am under the impression that incoming links (other sites linking to you, especially if their PR is higher than yours) are more valuable than outgoing links.

    But I could be wrong . . .
