Setting Appointments from Received Lead Cards

Never call...

ALWAYS DROP IN

Your closing ratio will increase

Trust me when I tell you this

This is the best advise so far....I had to learn the hard way! Dont give them a chance to say:

no
Im busy
call back next week
i didnt send that in
ect.....

If you call they will think youre a salesman or telemarketer!

I call to set my appointments. I do not doorknock unless there is no number to be found for them.

Doorknocking is very inefficient use of time in my opinion. Not to say it doesn't work because there are some agents making it work but it's not for me.

I agree with JD, with one caveat. I call to set appointments, then door knock cards I could not reach on the phone, or who told me no on the phone. Kind of a balanced approach.

oh, I forgot. I like to try phone appts to set a 'geographic structure' to my day. It becomes much easier to then decide on the who/what/when/where I am doing that day. ie I'm basically driving between these appts, and door knocking the others who are on the way.

ph... good info and all aimed at high success rate when selling fe. When you door knock the no answers or call backs as described above when filling in among your other appts, what is your doorstep speil?
