Settlers is Gone!

Surveys are great, except they aren't.

Many of them really are designed to get the answer they want and ignore everything else. No different than half the threads we get on here. "Please confirm I'm right."

Now Lincoln Heritage has gotten hold of a list from Settlers and is calling all the agents trying to contract them. We've been called twice in the last hour.

Like I said on the other thread:
Call away! I think most Settlers agents are onto them. I hope they do call me. I might have a little fun with them!:D

Really, though, I've encouraged the LBL Home Service VP to try to bring in some of the old Huff-Cook guys.

I've got an appointment in 20 minutes with the sister of one of my Settlers policyholders. My client told her about her Bronze policy and that's what she wants to look at. If that's what I write, it will be the last policy I write for them after being contracted with them for 25 years, almost to the day. Actually feeling kind of emotional about it, like losing an old friend after a long illness.

Alternatively, they are not always as telling as one would hope. The insurance business is a mix of old and new. Just ask a simple question regarding electronic apps vs paper...there is still a huge mix of agents that prefer paper over electronic. Just read the forums, not all agents want the same thing. So while it sounds nice to ask the agents then do what they say, you will still only please a portion of the distribution while the others complain you asked and didn't listen to them.
