Settlers is Gone!

I've got an appointment in 20 minutes with the sister of one of my Settlers policyholders. My client told her about her Bronze policy and that's what she wants to look at. If that's what I write, it will be the last policy I write for them after being contracted with them for 25 years, almost to the day. Actually feeling kind of emotional about it, like losing an old friend after a long illness.

I feel you. I am pretty sure there are a couple more going away.

I ended up writing LBL. I really tried hard to find a good reason to write Settlers this time, but, alas it just wasn't going to be the best fit for her. I'm pleased that she got the best policy to meet her particular needs, but kind of disappointed that it wasn't Settlers. Well, goodbye old Conestoga wagon. RIP.

More fallout from Martin Frankel ... Had Settlers not been taken over by NGL due to that debacle, I doubt it would have ever come to this.

Unfortunately the fellow tht sent it to me when I had cancer, contracted cancer himself and died last year.. Sure miss "seeing" him on the net.
