Silver script $63 a month in 2024 with $525 deductible. Best silver script $116 a month

I saw $63.90 and near $116 on the 2 plans Other agents are talking about this . The $63.90 has the $525 or so deductible . That’s steep . It looks like carriers want more migration into mapd . Aetna pulled a fast one on many regular plans I saw . It appears on the service they improved their plans with lower specialist copays , more benefits . I started scanning more .They increased hospital copay days to 8-9 days on many plans . Inflation has hit everything and plans are being hit .

Aetnas MAPDs didn’t get worse here. They look the same.

What evidence do you see that someone doesn’t understand a deductible?

The most common scenario is agents that think you have to crank through the deductible before you get to the copay. At least for now, there are some plans that don't apply the deductible to tier 1 or 2 meds.

This is directly from their first look site for my state. I pulled their grid. Different areas have different premiums, which is odd because I didn't think it did that in years past.

It has been that way for a number of years. Agents on the forum quote $X premium for a plan in their area and it is rarely the same premium in my area. This is especially true for the lower premium PDP's which comprise over 90% of my client base.

Good to know! I thought I was missing something as I wasn't see these rates.

wow that SS choice plan completely blew up. double the premium, and T3 turned to a coinsurance.
This will be a busy AEP

Anyone got the Florida rates on SS? I noticed Wellcare went to a coinsurance on tier 3 on the Value Script plan. Decent options for lower premium plans are dwindling.

I've got the Florida rates now on SS. Pathetic increases. Not going to work. I'm screwed.

SS CHOICE.... $32.50 per month in 2023. $62.10 a month in 2024 with a $545 deductible on all meds.

SS PLUS........$70.40 per month in 2023. $111.40 a month in 2024 with a first time $200 deductible.

They are wanting out of the market.
