The religious forum I help moderate has had this as a chronic problem.

In remembering a post on top gun producers, if you get sucked in, it can grow to be a big problem.

Best thing to do is report the post to the mod staff, delete it from your inbox, and the mod staff to ban IPs and delete users.

We haven't had a problem in about a year now... but as you can tell from the link... it was a HUGE recurring issue.
