SR LIFE and LINCOLN HERITAGE

I friend of mine just started with LH. He told me that their mailing demographic criteria is the bottom of the barrel.

Horrible neighborhoods, disconnected ph numbers, nobody ever home. The people he talks to are so broke they can't pay attention.

There's gotta be a better deal than that......

Just a typical day in the FE jungle. Kinda like "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns and Roses.

Damn, somebody shoot me!! This is gonna be the second time in a week that I've agreed with Greg.

That is the FE market for mailers. That's where the FE agent's bread gets buttered. If you don't want to work that market, and many don't, do not make your focus FE.

If I had a gun I'd pass it right over to you. If an agent doesn't know how to work FE then their bread gets toasted burnt instead of buttered.

Gentlemen, I am meeting with my First every LH replacement clients today... I am hoping it will be a slam dunk this afternoon, as the prices I gave over the phone were substantially lower than their current LH product...

Funny. I hear there is a booming market for ice skates in hell today.

As someone that sells some SIWL three this week, but not full time, you guys are correct. I work a lot of orphan FE and some of those homes are not clean. Did a claim Tuesday in a country shack. While I am happy I got an app, I had to come home and shower and change to get the smoke off of me before my next meeting. That and the damn little dogs had fleas.

You guys are a tough breed.

Working that market makes you appreciate what you have at home..

Seems like Scott's posting was on the sarcastic side.
And yet this is his comment about himself on this forum:

"I help a selected few independent agents fine tune their FE sales, contact me to discuss contracting and marketing plans that could be the right solution for you."

So Scott, gee thanks for your heartfelt response. And yes, anytime you want to make the trip to Florida to deliver some FE policies in the hood, well...."come on down bro".

Maybe when you pull up front of the house and find 4 gangstas all smoking pot or whatever's in that pipe, on the front porch, but "hey yo Grandma's inside and gee that sure is a sweet ride you got there".

As I said, come on down bro.

(Don't come strapped either. FL has some funny laws about out of state guns.)

My posting was more about LH as opposed the FE market. I know an agent (not with LH) who will only call his FE leads. He does very well and he will spend 2 Saturdays a month going to the "no answers" he has left.

But once again Scott a very BIG thank you for your wonderful insight. After reading your credentials on your website and all your postings about Funeral Trusts etc., I'm surprised you lower yourself to do FE in the hood?

But hey, what did I expect from you? Actually a bit better.

And being a new member to this "forum", I had actually thought that there would be other agents sharing their experiences.

Turns out this sort of true. So far it looks like all the "gurus" spend more time here than they do in the field. Oh yeah, I forgot, they've have so much residual income that they don't need to pound the pavement anymore. They're stepping aside so the new agents can make so money now.

Yeah, welcome to the jungle......

I have no idea what to make of your post. But my offer still stands for your friend and ALL LH agents. I will deliver your policies for you if that will free you up some time.

Welcome to the insurance forum Sandra. Don't take yourself so serious on here. It's not that kind of forum.
