SR LIFE and LINCOLN HERITAGE

You think the hood's bad -- try the woods -- trailers, pitbulls, and cocks, oh my.

Seems like Scott's posting was on the sarcastic side.
And yet this is his comment about himself on this forum:

"I help a selected few independent agents fine tune their FE sales, contact me to discuss contracting and marketing plans that could be the right solution for you."

So Scott, gee thanks for your heartfelt response. And yes, anytime you want to make the trip to Florida to deliver some FE policies in the hood, well...."come on down bro".

Maybe when you pull up front of the house and find 4 gangstas all smoking pot or whatever's in that pipe, on the front porch, but "hey yo Grandma's inside and gee that sure is a sweet ride you got there".

As I said, come on down bro.

(Don't come strapped either. FL has some funny laws about out of state guns.)

My posting was more about LH as opposed the FE market. I know an agent (not with LH) who will only call his FE leads. He does very well and he will spend 2 Saturdays a month going to the "no answers" he has left.

But once again Scott a very BIG thank you for your wonderful insight. After reading your credentials on your website and all your postings about Funeral Trusts etc., I'm surprised you lower yourself to do FE in the hood?

But hey, what did I expect from you? Actually a bit better.

And being a new member to this "forum", I had actually thought that there would be other agents sharing their experiences.

Turns out this sort of true. So far it looks like all the "gurus" spend more time here than they do in the field. Oh yeah, I forgot, they've have so much residual income that they don't need to pound the pavement anymore. They're stepping aside so the new agents can make so money now.

Yeah, welcome to the jungle......

Wow! Somebody's Wheaties were damp before they poured the milk in them this morning.

Newby does a lot of tongue in cheek posting, especially when it comes to L&H but he adds more value to the forum than most of the members. He offers help to all who ask but if he chooses to be selective as to whom he offers contracts.. That's bad??.

As for LH, you yourself said there has to be a better way..

I take offense to that!

Everything I have ever posted on this forum should be chiseled onto stone tablets and embedded into the side of mountains so that future generations can MARVEL at the wisdom that came before them.

Tongue in cheek INDEED!

When they add Presidents Bush and Obama to Mt. Rushmore, we will put your words between them.

I like what she said.

Forget the Wheaties comment....like that's helpful.

I think she hit it bang on. I'm in Florida too. I know what she's talking about.

So, put your money where your mouth is with your "offer".

When are you coming down to Florida "bro"....?

I can't speak for Newby but I am not your "bro". I have one sister and no brothers. I was speaking to her obvious anger at something that was done in a fun, light hearted way. It is not Newby's fault her boyfriend went to LH. And, why would anybody go to Florida? They are all migrating this way to the mountains to get away from there.

Yo Mark, my comment was directed to the other "guru" Newbury, NOT YOU.

You're not my bro either. I wasn't talking to YOU.
And why would anybody come to Florida?
You say that, and you're in Tennessee. So what makes you so special?

I worked Tennessee once. How do you spell "Deliverance"?
I now understand why you need all the preservatives you can get.

But hey, you're a "Guru".....LOL

I don't know why you don't post your public information like most "Gurus".

If you want my phone number, or my home address, just let me know.

As I said Bro, I wasn't talking to you.

That poor kid, sounds like most, just trying to make a living and you of all experts have your Wheaties comment.....

Another tough talking "expert" and oh-so-willing-to-help....

And as to Scott, I haven't seen his posting about when he's coming to FLA with his gun to help deliver the policies....God Bless Him too.

.

We have so many Floridians buying worthless mountain land that a billy goat couldn't climb that mountain property has gone out of sight. Most are trying to escape the high property taxes and cost of living found in Florida.

Deliverance? Sorry, wrong state.. That was filmed in Georgia.

I don't post all the contact information because I have no product to sell on the forum and I quit recruiting long ago. But I will send it to any who request it.

Oh, and as far as help, I would be glad to do whatever I can.. which probably wouldn't be much in the mind of most.. but I didn't see Sandra asking for help. She made a comment and then went off the deep end at Newby's response, which I might add was in context of the thread because if you go back and read it from the beginning you will find the thread was stared as a joke.

So lighten up Mike.. As an old man, I can tell you life is much more enjoyable that way.
