I have to admit that no one is going to go to jail for spreading wrong information or bashing funeral homes or whole-life insurance or preplanning or annuities or any of that stuff or Dave Ramsey, and ALL the financial entertainers and magazines would fill the jail.
You have to find humor when companies play both sides of an issue. For instance:
NGL gets MOST of their funeral trust sales from funeral homes. But they have a whole division selling the separate product that puts on seminars and "scares" people about NOT going to the funeral home with the same wrong info that Greg had.
I've asked NGL how they justify both channels selling the exact same product but telling their customers that it's different and basically selling against each other with wrong info. They said "Hey, it drives sales and people will believe what they want to believe."
Lincoln Heritage had Funeral Preplanners for years selling Prepaid Funeral Insurance and encouraging people to go to the funeral home to prepay. They had their whole different division of FE agents selling FE and pretty much telling them to NOT go to the funeral home. The LH preplanning sales reps would act like the FE division was trained to recommend they ALWAYS recommend that people pay at the funeral home unless they couldn't afford to. Yeah! Right!
The industry is FULL of BS. But I never heard of an agent going to jail for being full of BS.

I'm having some weird bad luck door knocking. Everyone is turning me away and leaving me no room to even make a rebuttal. They requested this damn information why are they taking such offense that I am showing up to give it to them in the best form possible, a friggin live presentation. What could be better? Maybe they think I'm a mormon or something, I'm in gray suit pants and a white dress shirt with a red tie, yesterday it was a blue tie and I get the same results lol... I am approaching them with nothing but the card they mailed me back in my hand

Lose the tie- the only people wearing ties now days are Mormans and Jehovah's Witnesses. You want to look like a professional but not too much better than they dress.
