Starting in Final Expense

I utilize ARM mailers from my FMO marketing company. They pay my lead costs for me. I get around a 2-3% reponse and mail a new 1000 piece mailer each week.

Hey Safemoney,

I'd like to hear some more details about these mailers, and who this FMO is (if it's not being too personal). Sounds like a decent setup for you!

As anyone ever used need a lead?

Yes, used them twice. First time got .02 response. They said they'd give me a discount on another mailing if I tried them again. I then mailed with them again and got just a tad bit better response. I used Mainstreet Powermail before and after N.A.L. and got 1.5%+ each time, usually more.

With N.A.L., I called in there several times asking if anything had come in for me, as it had been days since I heard from them from when the first lead had come in. I was put on hold and each time it was a SURPIRSE - , "Why, yes, we do have leads here for you!".
It got to be a chore to call them to ask if I had leads rather than a system of automatically sending them out. I won't be trying them again.

This is just my personal experience with them. I know other guys that say they're still using them with mixed results.

.15% or 1.5%?

Wow, somebody brought this thread back from the dead...

However, just to be clear to anybody reading this the "the secret" company that Stratos was talking about in this old thread was not "gpm".....

It was a company called 5 Star Life Insurance out of VA. (At this point it is captive)

Mike I am unsure why you would post in this thread???
Anyone with experience at 5 Star?

Whats the best route to take in starting to sell Final EX?

* as you can see by most of the posts.....its a tough weak market by itself. but when you are selling both individual and group health, medd supps, long term care, final expense and fixed annuities at no cost with exclusive leads provided weekly you have a tremendous opportunity to make a sale most of the time..for more information reply to [email protected] and i can explain further
