What great benefits does Foresters add?

I know that if they are age 67 or less they can get a year or more of $2,000 Critical Illness if they have no preexisting conditions. But if they are older than 67 is there anything that impresses the client?

ummmmmm.....they build playgrounds....THAT will close the deal!!:D

Ben,

Thanks for sharing your experiences over your first couple months.

Best wishes for your success.

Monumental is easy going compared to Americo. There might be a more tight assed company around but it sure as hell isn't Monumental. They are peace, love and flowers compared to Americo. Monumental's CSRs have been excellent with me.

Oh I forgot American Amicable- yes there is a more tight assed rude moronic company. It's called Am Am!

My experience has been just the opposite with Mon. vs Americo. Americo can be difficult, but they are a breeze by comparison.

They can all have their moments. RNA with their rule of the month and not informing the agents about the rule until after the fact. Foresters with their insane rules and total lack of communication.

I love AmCon. I wish their rates were better.

Better be careful saying anything about AmAm. There is an agent here that will copy/paste your thread and send it to the higher ups at the company.

Didn't they have some issues with the way they marketed to the military?

Monumentals agent website is 100% complete dogsh*t

Go in there and try and find a policy you wrote last year thats still on the books and try and find the link to look at the details of that policy other than just the name of the client

Good luck

I just talked to a csr and underwriter at AmAm about a chronic asthma case and both were very polite and helpful. I give good phone.

I had a client yesterday who had a policy with Columbian and she was not all that happy with them because there were some mistakes made that caused her to do a little extra leg work, which she did. I was meeting with her because she wanted more coverage.

When I got there I went over her options and she was hesitant to replace her existing policy but wanted to write and additional $7,500.
At that time I went over the member benefits again, but in more detail. She stated to me she really liked several of the benefits including the playgrounds, legal link and the fact they are a major contributer to Childrens Miracle Network. Just about that time her handicapped child walked through the door. I was able to replace what she had and wrote a $20,000 policy that paid much better than the $7,500 she wanted.
The fact is what might not be a hot button for us, may be for them. Member benefits are like having more bullets in your holster. You never know when or where they just might come in handy.

I Have a Question for TPAAgent,

Can you elaborate on the list that you filter and door knock off...Where do get it? and what type of list do you buy?
