Suggestion on Medicare FMO

Any suggestion on a Medicare FMO?

One that:
- is professional and easy to work with
- can call and speak to a human if I have questions, not wait 24hrs to hear back
- makes it easy to sell by phone
- can use e-apps and their website for everything if I want (to be as paperless and efficient as possible)
- has enough carriers (not just 1 or 2, even though I know Humana and UHC are the biggest)
- won't be a pain and ask for reviews of all websites or marketing materials, etc. (even when not mentioning specific MAPD plans).

I know some FMOs offer many products, but I'm looking for a suggestion on an FMO specifically for Medicare (regardless if they offer more products as well).

I'm looking at all these:
- Ritter
- Todd King
- Premier Marketing
- Senior Market Sales (Omaha, Nebraska)
- Senior Marketing Specialists
- Precision Senior Marketing
- Gordon Marketing
- Jack Schroeder & Associates

Any suggestion?

Those top five should be good to go.

Always make sure that they give releases and you are not assigning commissions to them.

Perks I would look for as well.

How much back office support do they provide? Will they help with pending apps, check commissions for you, fight unjust decisions by underwriters, etc.

Do they only call when they need a new contract?

Do they offer any free perks? CRM, Quote Engine, Online Contracting, Eapp software, Co-Op Leads, Trips(non carrier), Market Credits, Websites, etc.

I do have some contracts with Senior Marketing Specialists, and with Ritter, Both are good, Out of the 2 if you want better time reaching someone quickly Senior Marketing Specialists, is the better of the 2, This does not mean Ritter does not provide good support there just is a lag time.

I have also heard good things about Todd King, Senior Market Sales (Omaha, Nebraska) & Premier Marketing.

Todd King in on the forum regularly and not only is very knowledgeable but prides himself in returning calls and customer service.

Gordon Marketing I would not touch with a 10 ft pole, the others I have no Idea

Here are 3 FMO's you might want to look at. There are lots of perks out there if you look around.

Senior Market Design
Free 1,000 piece DM lead drop for every 12 issued Med Supp/FE policies(any combination and can be spread over more than 1 month), National CSG for Med Supps that shows all companies. They have many more companies available than they show on their website.

Precision Senior Marketing - Insurance FMO | Senior Insurance Marketing
Free 1,000 piece DM lead drop for every 10 issued Med Supp/MA policies(any combination and can be spread over more than 1 month),
National CSG for Med Supps, MA, FE, HIP that shows all companies, CRM

Eldercare Insurance Services |
Free 1,000 piece DM lead drop for every 20 issued Med Supp/MA policies(any combination) per month, CSG for Med Supps, MAPD, PDP, FE, HIP on companies they offer, Website, free data lists, CRM, and more.

All 3 pay street, answer the phone, have open release policies and are easy to deal with.

I have contracts with tons of different uplines - most mentioned above. I recently got one through Western Marketing Group and was quite happy with them - so much so that I picked up another one through them. wmacorp dot com.

I don't think they are as big as some of the others above. At least the reps that I talked to seemed to be "on top of things."

Having said that, many of the others above, I've used, and have been happy with as well.

I don't believe that putting too much weight on the FMO is necessary. Some may give you a few leads. My FMO gives me a bunch each AEP. But, as far as helping me with product knowledge, I don't think so. It's always nice to get some perks like CSG Actuarial.

Not interested in the FMO for marketing or anything else other than contracts and being easy to work with.

Also, I don't want to use an FMO branded website, where the client can see the FMO, for any e-SOA.

I also don't want to send the client directly to the carrier website for the application.

Can't you just create an e-version of the SOA and application, use an e-signature software (e.g., Docusign) and that's it.

Store the e-SOA. Fax the e-application or email.

That should work as well.

To just have everything in my own CRM, not the FMOs CRM.
