Tips From Top Producers To Combat Coronavirus Objections

i totally agree.

it's one thing to suggest to newer agents - learn to adapt.

but it's another thing to suggest to newer agents - "you stupid moronic idiots with Coronavirus (oh I don't know your health status) but you're ugly and cold and callus and hate your clients" and by they way I make 10 million in sales and youre dumb af"

No one has said you hate your clients, are callous, or cold, as far as I can see.

You've been called a moron, etc, because you have multiple people that have been in this industry a ***ton longer than you explaining YOUR clientele to you, and your argument has been, "but I'm healthy and my upline hasn't said stop"

That's moronic.

If your argument has digressed to the point where your feelings are hurt because someone calls you a daft fool, a moron, or an *** because you're acting like one, you've already lost this discussion.l

I never said my feelings were hurt that's what you assume.

I merely pointed out your hypocrisy calling someone childish yet you can't express your viewpoints without name calling and insulting.

And yet you keep telling us what we should and shouldn't do!

I'm really surprised by you. Very disappointed as I had held you in high regard.

FYI #25 in life sales puts you at average

And this statement puts you at not a very high level of intelligence. Perhaps panic an desperation are moving you to act this way?

Consider that it is very possible, in fact likely, that each of the two guys above me for annuity production have each produced more annuity premium in the first three months of this year than your agency will all year.

Consider that the total production of our top 30 agents for life production year to date may already have written more annual premium than you agency will all year.

I can't say it is for sure, of course. But what if it were? How "average" would I be if that were the case?

And if what I have produced this year is merely average, I will be very happy to continue with that average in perpetuity.

But I know I am not average, dude.

we can get tested together. What date you, Todd, and Travis going I'll schedule mine same day

I'm just curious - can you get tested easily in your area? In my County, you need to be exhibiting symptoms, have a referral from your PC and a scheduled appointment.

PA is just days away from ordering a "shelter-in-place" and NJ did so yesterday. I cannot believe agents in these states have still been door knocking or seeing people F2F.

That's moronic.

that's exactly what they said And implied in the other thread.

my argument was since I had minimal guidance from IMO/upline on door knocking I used the news here and from the CDC so if following guidelines from my local government and listening to prospects when the said "I don't want to meet in person"'or "I'd rather talk through my glass door" as "moronic" then so be it.

And by the way my clientele is not final expense.

Speaking of adapting, @Rearden posted this in another thread, but since this thread is about tips (at least the title is about tips! LOL!), here's his recent video on telesales. In the description on YouTube, he includes a link to download his telesales script, which is golden!

Considering where David was coming from as the OP who started this thread (and the ensuing debate), I'll give him props for adapting a day or two later when he posted this vid!

This is not a "show me your 10099" argument

*

I always find when the debate goes to "I sell more that you" that someone has become insecure.

I'm not even close to a high producing agent. I'm a Medicare agent and have the ability to chose my clients and they reach out to me.

I'm totally fine not being a top producing agent, as it's really not my goal. If it was, I'd probably change the way I do business.

I think it's highly irresponsible to do f2f and door to door, but do you.
