You may be right. I'm finding that most carriers don't know what they are doing and because of CMS, are afraid to even give you correct information.

Fortunately, I'm not really focusing on Pyramid this year due to the amount of claim issues I've had. When 10% of my clients have problems, there is something wrong with the claims system. In fact a large medical group is refusing to accept Pyramid in one of the areas in which I work. And I do have a couple of great alternatives with Aetna.

As an aside, after learning about the FBI raid, they are similarly ending their relationship with WellCare.

Guess there really is a value in a "big" name rather than using carriers unknown to most physicians.

Good luck for this selling season. I'm exhausted already.
