Too Many Agents?

It seems to me that rural areas are untapped, if one is willing to drive to them.
The country is more saturated than the city.. All the city boys drive to the country to work.

As for the market being saturated, If you don't count MoO, iget fewer pieces of FE mail now than I did a few years ago. I get 4 - 5 MoO per month and only about 2 from other vendors.

However, if you are a T65 which my wife is you are bombarded with mail and phone calls. AARP and Humana seem to be the most aggressive.

But that is primarily for Med Supp and MA. I was talking about FE only. When it comes to the MA and Med Supp, I dread OE every year.. Sometimes they can't even get all the solicitation mail my wife and I receive in the box.

I know this is off topic but the overload of MA and Med Supp stuff must be very confusing to the average Medicare recipient.

It must really be annoying to get old. I would imagine some folks live for their mail however.

I would not be worried about DM leads. Yes the response has gone down, but people will continue to fill them out and buy. People's situation change and sometimes they want to compare quotes. Also some just don't trust the agent that sold them and want to find someone else to buy from, this has happened to me a bunch of times. I guess I something right because those people are still on the books.

As far as too many FE agents, it did scare me at first. I live in Florida and their is a ton of agents here but like it was said before most of those guys will not make it long. So don't worry as long as you keep busy you will have nothing to worry about.

Are you that old or did you marry a Cougar? :)

I am younger then she is. However, I married above my grade. If you didn't know better you would think my wife is about 50 and very hot for a senior citizen. Newby has met my wife and can tell you if I am lying or not. The attached picture is of my wife and youngest daughter taken last August in Destin, FL at Carrabba's.

Well done. I can imagine you married up since we have yet to see your picture. ;)
