True Stage

As long as I've been in this business I've heard all these same excuses from non producers. The sky has always been falling. The cost of doing business is too high. Saturation is killing them. MA is taking over. Nothing new under the sun. Of course the telesales recruiters will play on those excuses just like they always have.

Something else has never changed, I've never heard producers make those excuses. I'm getting a better mail response that I was 10 years ago. When I was t my prior IMO they stopped mailing my two favorite counties because of poor responses. I get most of my leads now in those 2 countes.

As for SL, FEX did an experiment 2 years ago with them. It was a miserable failure. The products were not sellable and SL cut commissions. FEX has no association with SL now.

I first started posting here a little over 14 years ago. Greg was recruiting 24/7 then. He's recruiting 24/7 now. Why does he continually have to recruit if this SL offer is viable?

Another thing I assist on is 55-80 age group and no P.O. Boxes so I can door knock . Need a lead won't touch that for less than $70 a lead in my area and that's with a bs Walmart lead . Not mailing 50-55 and 80-85 cuts response rates in 1/2 . I bet senior life mails 50-85 and and P.O. Boxes .80-85 is a very low conversion lead and a waste as far as I'm concerned. Tv leads and all leads getting more expensive as saturation hits everything . Millions have been sold the dream of riches in the ins business and more people pile in .

Sr Life doesn't mail PO Boxes and they mail ages 50-80.

That all makes sense. I believe in 10-15 years FE will be sold almost entirely by tele-sales using live transfers. Face 2 face will die out. Just like people screen their phone calls with caller id (everyone has that now) in 15 years people will screen door knockers at their door (everyone will have a smart door bell). At that time people will be conditioned to know that a stranger knocking on their door is either a salesman, scammer, or someone up to no good....just like they are now for unknown callers.

That's total BS. I heard that 35 years ago when I was door knocking home improvement.

Low income seniors want to see a face. The people I see are able to learn with me and understand things that could not be learned over the phone or on the internet.

I love that the younger generation is adverse to work. I love this "quiet quitting " thing that's going on.

Keep promoting that idea for lazy agents !

Love it !

JD I recruit because I can't sell FE...lol. And you can't sell FE either....lol. All you know how to do is replace business. That's why you're always looking for the cheapest FE whore to sell for. And that's why you knock FE tele-sales...because it's very difficult to do replacements over the phone. You see JD, tele-sales requires sales ability not replacement ability. That's why you can't do tele-sales and others can.

Recruiters recruit because the shelf life of agents are not very long....huge turn over. Not that many long timers like the few of us. I don't believe the sky is falling. If I did I would have left the FE stadium a long time ago. To me everyday is a good day...some days are just better than others!

I didn't notice anyone making excuses as you were stating. We're discussing why response rates are dropping over the years on FE DM. That's something any businessman in any industry would be discussing and analyzing. Glad to know your response rates are going up while everyone else's response rates are going down.

Noah don't be so short sighted. FE tele-sales is flourishing more now that it was 5 years ago. I'm not the only one promoting it. Are you denying that fact?

You are so FOS

I can sell life insurance and my record proves it.
I've averaged $5k per week for over 18 years.

Doesn't matter the product, I can sell it.

I was also the top producer for 3 MA companies when I dabbled in that.

I do believe you when you say you can't sell.

From your postings here it's obvious you can't sell.

I was also very successful at phone sales when I did that. So again, you are either a liar or stupid. Or both.

And obviously you are not very good at recruiting either.

But you were named asshole of the year right here at the forums. So you got that!!

Probably the only thing you ever won in your life.

I know you are very jealous of me but that's your cross to bear.

I'm not all all denying that. I am saying f2f will not die like you said.

I'm saying that seniors want some good old fashioned kitchen table style of transacting life insurance.

None of my people have said they would prefer to blindly buy life insurance over the phone .

Noah you may be right, who knows? Or I might be right, who knows. We're just stating our opinions.

I'm with JD.
And I don't think the telesales agents can do as good a job for the insured, client, agency, company etc….

You are so FOS

I can sell life insurance and my record proves it. You can't sell, but you sure can replace. You never share any sales tips. You only share which carrier is the new FE whore for cheapest rates.
I've averaged $5k per week for over 18 years. Like i said, you are good at replacing and lying to the seniors.

Doesn't matter the product, I can sell it. Who knows you may be right.

I was also the top producer for 3 MA companies when I dabbled in that. To be a top producer takes a full-time effort and then some. To say you were #1 3 times while dabbling is just another example of your lying to everyone. You are insecure and are exaggerating hoping to hide it.

I do believe you when you say you can't sell. I've shared many more sales tips up here than you ever have. All you talk about is how you can beat someone else's rates. That's called replacing, not selling.

From your postings here it's obvious you can't sell. See just above.

I was also very successful at phone sales when I did that. On one hand you say you were good at phone sales and on the other hand you say phone sales won't work. So again, you are either a liar or stupid. Or both. Yep that's a pretty good description of you.

And obviously you are not very good at recruiting either. Lol

But you were named asshole of the year right here at the forums. So you got that!! III a crusty old guy ore than earned that title with your attitude towards people up he
Probably the only thing you ever won in your life.

See, there you go again, sounding insecure and trying to prop yourself up. Why would I be jealous of a Kentucky hillbilly? Well....maybe Jed Clampette.
