True Stage

I'm with JD.
And I don't think the telesales agents can do as good a job for the insured, client, agency, company etc….

Why not? We're sharing information verbally, doesn't matter if it's face to face or over the phone. Now, reviewing a policy in hopes you can replace it would require face to face.

You are so FOS

I can sell life insurance and my record proves it.
I've averaged $5k per week for over 18 years.

Doesn't matter the product, I can sell it.

I was also the top producer for 3 MA companies when I dabbled in that.

I do believe you when you say you can't sell.

From your postings here it's obvious you can't sell.

I was also very successful at phone sales when I did that. So again, you are either a liar or stupid. Or both.

And obviously you are not very good at recruiting either.

But you were named asshole of the year right here at the forums. So you got that!!

Probably the only thing you ever won in your life.

I know you are very jealous of me but that's your cross to bear.
Oh he'll ya, this is like a5 year flash back

I'm not all all denying that. I am saying f2f will not die like you said.

I'm saying that seniors want some good old fashioned kitchen table style of transacting life insurance. That's true for some of the present generation of seniors. The next generation of seniors, 15 years from now, will have a different mindset than the present generation. People used to enjoy answering the phone 15 years ago as they didn't have caller ID nor tele-marketers calling them everyday. Here we are 15 years later and their mindset is different from 15 years ago.

None of my people have said they would prefer to blindly buy life insurance over the phone . With tele-sales people don't buy blindly over the phone. Of course if face 2 face or tele-sales was done poorly maybe so.

See, there you go again, sounding insecure and trying to prop yourself up. Why would I be jealous of a Kentucky hillbilly? Well....maybe Jed Clampette.

Not propping myself up. You attacked me. I responded. I don't why you are so insecure and jealous. Nor why I get to live rent free in your head. It's just the facts.

Are you rubbing a magic lamp ? You sure have a keen sense for the future.

Nothing takes the place of getting off your ass and going to see the people.

Of course lazy ass entitled people are coming up with all kinds of methods to sit on their arses and do nothing all day. Sitting in front of computer screens and talking on the phone typing on a keyboard fits right in with the the laziness of the generation you speak of.

I really hope this continues to grow like you say. It's FE gold for field agents. Lots of policies that are never reviewed, explained face to face.
Field agents just love reviewing these policies you lazy arses sell over the phone !

Have to disagree that selling over the phone is a sign of laziness. It is the hardest work I ever tried and I have worked in steel and paper mills. Had to force myself to do it.

What's tougher. Being a desk Sargent or a beat cop in a big city police precinct?

Are you saying overall that people who take an inside sales job are more motivated, sharper than someone who does outside sales ?

What about physical/mental health? Sitting is the new smoking .
No sunlight, fresh air? Is that good for you?

Yep tele-sales is hard work mentally. Easy work physically. I have several years experience at both. Face 2 face is more fun for me, for others tele-sales is more fun. They both require a great work ethic, mental toughness (especially tele-sales), fresh leads (live TV transfers are the king of the hill), and discipline to stay focused.

It's always funny to me when people with zero experience with tele-sales will comment as if they were an authority on the subject. Actually that's true for lots of other topics up here, not just tele-sales.
