Thanks for nothing! Nice to know you can take the time to be sarcastic, but yet you can't use that same time to help. Once again, thanks for nothing.

I have also found that the sarcasm is wonderful on this forum. Its always the same people too, the ones who think they know everything when in reality they need to be jerks to make themselves feel better.
What was your origional question? Maybe someone serious will answer it for ya.

Thank you. I had asked, once I would receive my L/H license would I receive invitations to companies like NYL or Metlife? If I did and had an interview and was hired, what expenses would I have. If they supplied training, once the training is over I know I would probably be strickly comission. Since I'm employed by them, would they supply the leads? Would I have to pay for them? Or would I only pay a comission to them for sales I've made? I have no knowledge of how exactly the insurance business operates just want to know what to expect once I'm licensed. Once again Thank you.

I'm not sure why you are asking us that question. Also, if you want to work for one of those companies why would you sit around waiting for them to send you an "invitation"? Selling insurance isn't a birthday party or a wedding.

Do what any of us would do, pick up the telephone and ask to speak to the licensing department. Ask your questions and have them send you information. Have you tried their websites to look for information?

It seems to me that if you want to get accurate information regarding the questions you have that you would go to the company. Besides, those are most probably only questions that could be answered by someone who is newly licensed with them.

Insurance companies may have several different options for new agents to choose from.

I would suggest that you do some of your own research before asking such generic questions. We are here to help agents, not to do all their work for them. If you are going to be successful selling insurance you are going to have to show some initiative and be a "self starter".

I didn't expect exact figures. I was hoping maybe someone could just shed alittle light such as sometimes companies do this or sometimes they do that. When you get your license call them and ask. Just a generalization, that's all I was looking for. I just thought alot of you with experience could have just given me alittle insight on what to expect. Sorry, I was such a bother.
