Wal-Mart Scooter-Rider Gets Rated Down to Monumental's Easy Solution

The reason I submitted this app despite scooter usage is because the underwriting in the agent guide makes it entirely unclear what is acceptable scooter usage.

You literally have to submit the app to find out.

I would have taken the question as medically needed and answered no on the app.

Our plane is about to leave so I probably can't check back.

Nothing surprises me with Mon.

No. He did not want FE. Just making the point that ML's kooky UW would decline for an FE an applicant who could get preferred on a $1M app.

I am a rock star, but for other reasons.

No I think you still need them. They are 1 (only 1?) of the companies that will offer folks with COPD Immed coverage and preferred coverage to those on angina meds over 2 years.

It looks like American Continental will be getting more business for those folks in wheel chairs.
AmCon's question is whether or not someone is dependent on the use of a wheelchair. Liberty Bankers simply asks if a person is in a chair due to illness. Have a customer who was shot in the back 30 yrs ago that LBL fits.

That is interesting, I haven't looked at there product yet, but might have to add them since Monumental is going to loose some business based on all the question changes and rate increase.

It's too bad for Monumental, they have issued every policy that I have submitted this year and have been very efficient.

Well speaking on wheelchairs, who's a good carrier for someone that does use a wheelchair daily? I got an appt tmw with a guy in a wheelchair.

You must have missed it. On page 30 of the Field Manual it says for question number 7; "This question should be answered yes even if the proposed insured only uses the wheelchair or scooter for mobility at the mall, grocery store or other similar facilities".

That is from the manual dated 2/13
