Wal-Mart Scooter-Rider Gets Rated Down to Monumental's Easy Solution

Well speaking on wheelchairs, who's a good carrier for someone that does use a wheelchair daily? I got an appt tmw with a guy in a wheelchair.

5Star doesnt ask specifically about wheelchairs, BUT they do ask if the proposed insured needs assistance with eating, toileting, taking meds, etc....and if he/she is in a wheelchair, chances are u would have to say yes to that. If not, its 1st day coverage preferred..or UHL deluxe, but they ask the same asst questions.

Check those out.....but WHY is he in a wheelchair is the main thing?

Monumental's high already for their standard products..

Dig this

66 male NS -standard 10,000

Americo = $57.00
Monumental - $84.00

That's damn near a $25 a difference a month

Yeah Mons std are graded prices that have the benefit of being 1st day coverage. I have yet to sell one.

I have a hard time getting ppl to take graded coverage after they see the price of Vantis' ROP prices, which are much cheaper.

Ive used it before, maybe 4-5 times....1st day coverage is always better then a 2yr wait. Once a guy had COPD, another CHF, neither was on oxygen. Vantis is a last resort, only if I cant find 1st day coverage. Tell the guy that couldnt find ANY coverage (cept Colonial Penn) with CHF that it wasnt worth it....not only did I get him coverage, it was 1st day coverage!

Columbian takes COPD without oxygen

One thing I can say about Monu, it saved me a sale today. On my medical fact find I had a 53 year old woman tell me there wasn't a thang wrong with her, so I quoted rates for 10K Oxford. Then when I get down to the "bi-polar" question she says 'yes'. I don't get many of those (except for my crazy daughter in law, but that's another story). So I'm scanning all my apps trying to find one doesn't ask about that, they all did, except for Monu. So she took it. Yup, she really must be crazy.

Im not sure who ALL your carriers are.....but I have several that dont ask- RNA, Americo & Foresters, along with Monu as long as you are over 50.
