We Win !

Re: We Win!!

We Win!

I broke out a bottle of 17 yr old scotch last night and had a victory drink!

Re: We Win!!

You're not serious are you. There is no way in hell I would vote for Bloomberg. And you mentioned old faces, what do you think Condi represents. She's from the Bush era no matter how far you try to separate her from it, that's what it boils down to. Romney is a much less insider "face" than Condi. I'm not saying Romney is the man for the job (he may or may not be), but I would think a Romney/Pawlenti ticket is better than a Bloomberg/Condi ticket. Hopefully the Republican party will have a leader emerge and we will have no doubts about who to vote for in 2012.

Mitt is an old face, republicans need someone not as associated with washington as the rest..... Bloomberg & Condoleeza! Thats a ticket I would vote for!
Ive heard rumors that Steve Wynn has considered running in 2012, now that would be interesting!

Im not saying that Condi isnt an insider, my point was that Bloomberg is not!
And he would be great for business and the economy too since he actually understands business.
People dont like career politicians. Even though Obama was/is one, the masses never thought of him that way.

Bloomberg is more to the middle as well, so he would pull a lot of disgruntled dem votes easier than Mitt.
And not to be racist or sexist, but how could a black woman be bad as VP for the republicans ticket? It would be another huge pull of votes from the dems, no matter what her political history might be!

Re: We Win!!

Obama campaigning for them the the fall will be about as welcome as Bush was at the end of his term. When people voted for Obama they voted for a grab bag. Nobody knew what was in the bag because the media keep everything quiet. The discontent voters hoped for a nice prize instead they got booby trapped. Now they are reacting with open eyes.

XRAC, who is that beautiful baby in the picture you use?

Re: We Win!!

No way ...?
Blended, single malt.
Please, slowly ... in detail ...

Balvenie 17yr old aged in sherry oak casks. Not to be confused with the 17 yr old that is aged in rum casks.

The rum casks is not as good as the sherry cask! The demand for the Balvenie Rum cask is much higher now because they have stopped producing it.

I pour myself 1.5 oz with just one ice cube. Sip on it and realize how great life is!

Just for the record the Balvenie 12 single barrel double wood is excellent.

You have excellent taste...and knowledge...

Im a big macallan and talisker fan.
You should check out macallans sherry cask, you would like it.

Have you tried any of the blended single malts such as JW green or blue? There are some exceptional ones out there

But you should 86 the ice cube, imo scotch should be drunk neat.
Go to some places in england and they will actually refuse to serve a good scotch on the rocks!
But to each their own :1cool:

Instead of a "grab-bag" they are now stuck with a "Sh*t-bag" of campaign lies and empty rhetoric by our man-child president!!! Long live the voters of Mass.!!!

The fight is not over, the Obama team believe that the election turned out the way it did because they (the Dems) did not pass the Health care reform fast enough and need to come together to get an agreement done.

Good. I am all for it. Giddyup.

I notice you are from CA and that CA just introduced a bill in the Assembly this week for another shot at single payer. Double giddyup. Let every frigging socialist do whatever they need to do right now and do it with passion. Let it all hang out. The voters are feeling capable of sorting this all out and I think they are. See if you can get Barbara Boxer to speak in favor of it if she hasnt already.
