My hope is voters are finally waking up, so we can give Boxer, Feinstein, most of the socialist at our state capital, along with our trader "Arnold" their walking papers soon.

I first heard about Macallans from Neil Peart's website. He has a pull bout every evening from what I understand.
Sherry oak casks ... yes.
Me? I here ya on the ice. Unless it is from distilled spring water(tasteless) so that it does not interfer with the complexities of the scotch, but even then ... sparringly.
Sometimes, I like to chill with a side of said water and maybe just sip a lil Mac (or other good scotch) and then "mix it" in my yapper with varying amounts of the water. Maybe the next sip will be all scotch, etc. Variety ...
The wife picked up a bottle of 18 year old a few years back for Xmas I think. Ahhhhhhh ...
Now, that'll run ya bout a buck 60 a bottle.
You get a good 12 year for bout 50?
Have seen 30 year bottles at $1100.
