What is "must have" advice for a newbie?

Typical of you to talk god on one side and lie on the other, you are only telling a few truths and only the truths that benefit you. Hmm 2 years you must have "won" a buttload of money assuming you actually won. So you take the buttload of money and minus attorney fees = loser. Usually in this type of case one or both side decide the juice isn't worth the squeeze and it is no longer about wining and losing it about making a good business decision. Too bad you lie. Second everyone on the forum knows you lied and stole agents (money) from Equita, if you hadn't they wouldn't have sued you in the first place, hence they didn't sue FEX or another agent that left them and started there own organization, JUST YOU, sometimes if the compass keeps pointing back at you it is actually you, oh and didn't Thad come on here a year or 2 ago and tell the world how you stole an entire agency from him. Great reputation you got there, see guys like you, FEX, the jerk, and Thad stay away cuz of there rep, once it's blown you can't recovery is like alcoholism.

Ohh you must be an Equita agent lol

So if a murderer, rapist or pedifile goes free and maybe kills or rapes someone else God fought for the bad guy and not the victim? I am in no way saying you are any of those things. I know next to nothing about you except what I read here. However, I read the above as God fought for you and backed you up against Equita. Was it a Good against Evil thing or a business thing?

If it was Good against Evil, Show me why. If it was just a business thing, Yawn!

Edit: No dog at all in this. Just curios how God got into FE. Does he have to use an * also?

Edit Edit: I do not have any contracts with Equita.

Why dont you? Apparently they can match any contract out there. So you just tell them the percentage you want and they place you there

Ha. I am too independent for some of these "Independent" Shops. :1arghh:

They seem as good as any of the other captive Independent shops. I really do not know anything about them. I like some of the people that are over there like Ben. But I like some people at several of the shops on here.

I have buddies and do some business at Lincoln Heritage as well. I do business with a Local Primerica Grand Pubah also.

Being a frail old man I leave the sword play and raiding to you young Pirates.

I will stay back on the beach with the wenches and rum.

God fights for you!? Hahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahaha

What a ***ING ***.

Can you imagine being that stupid ?

Read 2 Chronicles 20:1-29. This is a wonderful story about how God fights for you. I meditated on this chapter throughout the litigation. There are other examples in the bible that support this.

Your words of wisdom never fail!

I've seen a few ads recruiting for FE insurance.

I'm a 43yr old male, no kids. I am looking for a sales position that is rewarding, both financially and purpose. When I think of most sales people, I think "scammer." As I think many do.

I wamt to be that guy that puts the person at ease, build the trust and friendship needed between clients to have a successful business.

I've done everything from cleaning, baking, wedding cakes, vacation sales, business owner, sold a business and now, here I sit.

This industry seems competitive but rewarding from what I've read. It takes determination, patience, trust, etc from what I see, just like most things in life .

Any advice would be appreciated!

I have built my presentation on putting clients at ease. I very rarely "go to the kitchen table". When they ask, I point to a nice chair and say that looks more comfortable. it really puts people at ease. I got my clip board for a writing surface and that's all I need. My suggestion to any agent is to stay away from stiff presentations. Seniors have seen enough of that and they much prefer someone to bring some humor and "real" conversation.

If the house stinks like the dog, tell them the house smells like the dog. They'll laugh because they already know it. don't be afraid to cut up, but let them know you're in charge. I do this by telling them what to do, never asking, and I never let them go on a rant about their opinion or attitude towards the plan in question. I cut them off real fast. "I'm the life insurance expert in this room. I'm the one that explains how the plans work, not you". Then I laugh and they normally do as well.

So, walk softly, but carry a big stick. Seniors want to have a laugh, give them a couple. Then establish your authoritative presence. They will appreciate and respect you.
