What is "must have" advice for a newbie?

I love watching sports, but I cringe when someone who wins thanks God for helping him/her or whatever. That only means that God must have just not liked the rest of them that day. I didn't know God was into favoritism. Sounds like a made up God to me at that point.

I'm looking for a salesman/ saleswoman for our team ? Look forward to connecting with you.

Tom
PS - I hope this doesn't violate any rules in this forum. If so I will delete it. thx.

It's one thing to want to give credit to God for blessing you in some way, but it's quite another to invoke God while simultaneously gloating in someone else's defeat. There's a verse in Proverbs that says not to do that! ("Do not rejoice when your enemy falls..." Pr. 24:17)

OR it just means God let them play to the best of their ability. The problem is when those who lose don't thank God for playing at the best of their ability but they would have given thanks if they won.

So God is helping everyone at the games ? Like a big maasive help for those who prayed earlier that day? Or went to mass.

The simple faculties of life that are also needed to play sports like walking, breathing, talking, running, thinking, etc. some folks take for granted but others dont.

You can be healthy at practice but then go out and get injured by a hit or play or fall or get a stroke or heart attack or something simple as not having a clear head to focus because of nerves. So men ask God to help them that day to play to the best of their ability that these things may not happen but what they practiced will.

God can answer men in the most practical matters of life.

I think it might. There is a section for offers, but to post there requires that you've posted a certain number of times. (I've got nothing to offer, so I don't know what the number is.)

Welcome to the forums! Since you're recruiting, that hopefully means you have some expertise and experience. So, try to contribute helpful posts, or ask a question when the need arises. There are a BUNCH of recruiters on here already, so making any kind of pitch will just bring a yawn, if not a fair amount of ire from some of us who don't recruit.
