What's Up with SecureHorizons UnitedHealthcare PacifiCare?

In a number of states UnitedHealthcare's SecureHorizons PacifiCare were offered as a Standardized MedSupp's. Then in January UHC told us to hurry-up and Certify for their 2010 Modernized MedSupp's.

Does anybody know when, or if, any of the UHC's plans will re-enter the market with Modernized Plans?

Only AARP that I know of. Secure Horizons' med supp is not going to be modernized from what I have seen.

UHC is missing the other half of the senior population whom refuse to hook-up with AARP. It's a love-hate kinda deal!

This fall UHC (AARP) will offer another round of MedSupp re-certifications for 2011. Another coffee table with playing cards and an agent named Frank. What a joke.

That's 3 re-certifications within a twelve month period! Wouldn't it be nice if we could get some Continuing Ed Credits? Why not?

UHC was offering a med supp product under the Golden Rule health plan label. They stopped as of 12/31/09. Too bad too, it was fairly priced and didn't have the zip code rates so I used it in the city zips a bunch.
