What Carriers do you write for presently?
1.They can see that you are there when you show up for the appointment. Really ? What if they never answered the phone and the agent doesn't door knock?
2. I can tell on the phone if they are interested. And more importantly not interested. No you can't. You don't talk to both man and wife. What if you talk to the man and get out there and the wife's a bitch ?
3. Absolutely false. That is number one problem in DK'ing. Interrupting at a time that they are both there. On the phone you schedule with both present.
Not likely. Plenty of 1 leggers and no shows.
I want to interrupt them and get their attention I'm there to fix a problem.
4. I certainly don't ask that on the phone and would not ask that on the phone. Nor do I find out any sooner when DK'ing. That's just a story you tell yourself
Exactly. You're driving out to see someone who might have a Netspend card.
.
5. Again. Not asking that on the phone. But it's no faster when DK'ing. In fact, it's usually faster on an appointment because they know you are coming and are prepared. Bull****……FE buyers are unorganized . You're not nailing them to be there for a sales pitch your there to give them the information they requested.
6. Agent is there either way. Nonsensical point, More BS….most agents are lazy, will simply dial the next card and not go out there. No sale.
So, yes, you can do all that by setting appointments and do it more efficiently.
Hiow come LH and SL don't train their agents to buy 20 fixed cost cards every week and set appointments?
They're financing the cards so basically it's free upfront for the agents until they write the business then LH gets their lead cost on the back end, right ?
Great way to recruit new agents too, right ?
If properly trained and accepting of that training. Lacking either and you have a DK'er that doesn't write any business that way either. But has lots of excuses.
It's indisputable every yr less and less people answer the phone . I'm in about 10 homes a day during aep and the phone rings 2-3 times per 10 mins . Every person tells me the same thing " if I don't recognize the # I don't answer it " . Big mapd Fmo's send out millions of free this or that postcards with 1-800#"s to call . And believe low income people call them . I got no doubt the wave of the future is inbound calls . People are comfortable buying on the phone now .

Yeah but you forget FEX has a magic trick to get all those same people to pick up the phone and instantly distinguish that it's not a telemarketer.
Lol
No magic tricks. Just pure training from experts. If you had even an inkling of coachability FEX could teach you too.
We just had our annual conference. There was not one agent there whining about not being able to set appointments. Not one!
There were some that just prefer to DK. But none with the crybaby attitude that's displayed by a handful here.
