Working Leads

Come on love, it looks like you're here to pitch something so I asked a question. I wasn't being hostile about anything, but it seems to have struck a nerve.

Let's review the facts. I asked "What are you here to promote?"

Nothing nefarious, nothing hostile, just asked what you were here to promote. You said you didn't understand the question so I went along with it and gave you more information about where it was coming from... then you got nasty. It really and truly is just curiosity. I've seen tons of folks come on here to promote things and based on the way you've been posting it really seems like your biding your time until you promote whatever it is you're here to promote. I was doing you a favor by asking because it gave you a perfectly reasonable opportunity to answer the question and not be accused of spamming. Instead, you've chosen to get nasty with me. Too bad.

Going back to my question, what was so nasty about my asking what you were here to promote?

As I stated earlier, there is nothing wrong with being here to promote something. I was an active member on this forum for a while before I started selling my lists, but there are plenty of folks that come here for no reason other than to promote their product/service. Some of them play by the rules and build a good name for themselves (Radius and Hometown Quotes come to mind). You're assuming that I'm being critical of the fact that you're here to promote something, but again, I was giving you a perfectly legitimate opportunity to open up about what you're here to promote without being accused of spamming the forum. Instead, you've chosen to get nasty with me.

Want to start again?

What are you here to promote?

Just "curious", what does "someone who's here to promote something" look like? Please enlighten me.

It's not that people don't have a right to ask that question, it's how they ask the question!

If your feelings get hurt that easily you are not only in the wrong place you are in the wrong business.

Look in the mirror. You certainly come across as the typical full of themself marketer. Maybe you are not?

I guess you are. You still haven't answered the question either. What are you here to pitch?

I have to admit, "you're funny"...like a great rapper once said...

"Not guilty, he who does not feel me is not real to me...
Therefore he doesn't exist, So poof...vamoose ________" (I think you know the rest)

Seems pretty simple.. if the answer is "nothing" then say so. However, if there is something go ahead and make the pitch while you have a standing invitation. Under those circumstances it couldn't be considered spam and every body would be "happy".
