2025 Silver Script RX Plans

Can't even "sell" Wellcare in MO. They've messed up their ratio thingie for 3 years in a row, so they are grounded for this AEP. Using it to move Wellcare to something else. Maybe GoodRX membership. LOL
or the canadian Rx pharmacy

found a "canadian" pharmacy right in my own state with great customer service and one main employees direct line.

Had another interesting encounter with a referral base doc facility director few months ago who turned me onto another pharmacy specializing in compounded injectables for up to 75% savings

Gotta be creative for sure on the Rx. LOL

Times are changing.

In SC, we have Aetna going from 3 to 1 plan by crosswalk. UHC is going from 3 to 2, losing the Walgreens Rx and BCBS is moving from 3 to 1Rx plans by crosswalk as well. Big changes this year. Anybody know anything about Clear SpringsPDP's yet for 2025? I noticed the Medicare Guide book listed both plans, but said to see company. Are they offered done with PDPs or will they make it back again?
Caveat, not an agent.

Kansas, hardcopy mailed out 2025 Medicare and You.

Under prescription drug plans, under Clear Spring

" At the time of printing, this plan is not allowed to accept new members."

(Look in the very left column under the phone number.)

Must be some kind of sanction going on.

At least in the State of Michigan, I see the SS Choice plan is the only option for 2025.

Will individuals that are currently on the Smart Saver and or the Plus RX plans remain on those
plans for 2025 or is everyone being moved to the Choice plan for 2025.

And from what I had read, it looks like the Choice plan doesn't pay a commission for 2025.

Thank you
Mu ANOC came yesterday-UTAH
My premium went up 500%
The deductible doubled. The copays doubled. No more preferred pharmacies. Mail order is for one month-and same price. No drugs are provided at $0 cost.....

Ya uhc, Cigna and Humana

Gotcha - so state-dependent.

Here is NC:
I have 6 under $40.20 ($40.20 is the new SS price in NC).

4 of the 6 - non-commissionable

The 5th barely pays commission - $12/yr - it's $28/mo and not worth my time to try to write.

The other one that has a commission? It's $37.30. That's really the only viable one for me to suggest to move them to w/ compensation. Again, not worth it, just keep SS

So - basically, pay $40 for SS or call WC

It's basically game over on PDPs (in some states)

That's not good

Clear Springs failed to achieve a 3 star rating in 3 consecutive years. CMS jail since Oct 2023

Same for FL. I already have close to 200 appts already set for Oct.

Most of my med Supp clients have WC. They have in their notes, “should I move from WC?”
My answer will be, “most likely no, the next closest is $27 with the same DED”.
I don’t see myself moving many PDP.

Until we see Formularies when don't know who we're moving or not moving, if the take no meds winner you get wellcare,

For those on SS I have a pre-written email.

If you simply want the cheapest, call Wellcare at 1-800-270-5300 and request to enroll.

-Ask them to look up your meds and tell you the tier levels
-Ask them about the deductible for 2025
-Ask them to explain the new smoothing program
-Ask them to give you details on how the $2,000 True out of Pocket is met with WellCare in 2025 (since it's not exactly $2,000 paid for by you).
-Ask them to mail you a physical copy of the book (not email)
-Ask them which pharmacies will be preferred in 2025

If you want to explore all options (most won't)... Watch this video on how to use planfinder. (Video of me walking them through PDP selection).

Yes, I want them to sit thru an hr long call and jam WellCare's line.... That will hopefully cost WellCare more than my $55 renewal.
