ACA Express -vs- HealthSherpa

This actually does work especially for agents that speak Spanish. If you understand the prompts once the agent gets on the line just ask if they speak English. Most of them do. On busy days I never use the English line. Never tried the Spanish website for enrollments since year once since there is no access to the Spanish site if you use a web broker.

Spanish site worked fairly well. Some waiting rooms but not many. Do it in Google chrome, then hit the translate button in the top right, it will put it in english. Didn't think to check if eligibility reports were in espanol, but customers don't read those anyway.

Kenny why do not of the apps show me as the agent of record in Healthcare.gov?

What you are looking at is not Agent of Record.

We actually have in our FAQ an article which goes over this. While logged in to your Dashboard, click FAQ at the lower left and locate the article titled: "When I call healthcare.gov they say I am not associated with an application I submitted via ACAExpress/the insurance company says they don't have me associated with an application!" as it will detail for you.

I will get on your other email later today.

It will only show the result in Spanish if you choose Spanish as the preferred language for your client. If you choose English it will be in English.

Evan the only way your broker information will be on the form on the Healthcare.gov application form is if you add it your self or call to report a change. I used ACA Express exclusively last year and all of my applications attached me as the broker of record 100% on all of my applications on the back end. You will not see the process but it does happen. You will not appear on the form unless you use a company that uses the double redirect since this year they do give us access to add ourselves as the agent of record on the actual application which is something CMS should do whether a WEB uses the redirect or not. Just my opinion. Because when any changes are made to the application during the year if you do not babysit the process you will be eliminated as the broker.

What I have never understood is why as agents we don't have our own login, why we have to use a WBE back door access button. We should have our own login to check all our exchange sales, WBE or not.

I think it's in the 2017 proposed regulations. Can't expect too much from Government too quickly. We just got the agent hotline. We use it, and they'll spoon feed us some more puddin.

Had real problems with ACA express this year. 40 of my enrollments through them came over to UHC as orphaned - no agent information. I now have to claim the deals by an AOR for for each one. Not what I want to spend my time on. Significant amount of commissions in question

I had many other problems but having to claim the deals is the capper. I'm pretty sure that it was them because I only used ACA exp for UHC enrollments and 1/3 went properly to UHC and the other 2/3 I have to claim as my own now. I think it was early in the enrollment season when 2/3 of their enrollments were stuck in processing.
I just had 2 finish that were hung for 4 weeks and I had already enrolled them elsewhere. I hope I don't have to go claim them now.

Anyone who used them better check that their enrollments are showing up.

I had a much better experience with free Sherpa until everyone got hung up on Tuesday.

I am reluctant to use ACA exp for anything now but emergency service. They aren't ready for prime time.

I can 100% promise you we send over the agent info provided by the agent/ORG within the agents settings on 100% of the applications. In fact it is not even possible for a WBE to submit an application without the agents first and last name, FFM ID and NPN. If any of this data is missing the enrollment would be rejected by CMS. The data flow process is:

1. Agent submits app through WBE
2. WBE send to CMS data hub
3. CMS either accepts and completes or rejects for various reasons
4. If accepted, i.e. Completed status, CMS then sends the data to the carrier or, depending on the carrier, the carrier 'pulls' the data from CMS.
