ACA Express -vs- HealthSherpa

A heads up - HealthSherpa agent submissions will remain free (usually $10 per enrollment) for the time being. We'll make an announcement if that changes.

Also, looks like the 1/1 deadline has been extended for a couple days (until 12/17):

I personally understand it might seem like we could be communicating more, and hoping that we'll be able to do so more proactively after the dust settles in the next few days.

Kenny, you did a stand-up job during this crisis that agents across the nation have been facing. You did simple app when we were going to double-redirect. And you beat the deadline with apps going through. You've been solving problems one at a time, from password resets, to stuck apps. What a winner! Here's a round of applause for Kenny West from ACAExpress!

Hip hip hooray!

Jill Chamberlain may have had the best advice for HealthCare.gov users who wanted immediate relief: Try the Spanish-language version of HealthCare.gov, to see if it's less crowded than the English version, and less frozen.

This actually does work especially for agents that speak Spanish. If you understand the prompts once the agent gets on the line just ask if they speak English. Most of them do. On busy days I never use the English line. Never tried the Spanish website for enrollments since year once since there is no access to the Spanish site if you use a web broker.
