Anyone Writing Assurity Simplified Whole Life?

Just out of curiousity, I went and looked at one of their apps. From the Tennessee app it reads:

...had chronic respiratory disease such as chronic obstructive respiratory disease (COPD) or emphysema; been treated with oxygen;....

The semi-colon means they are separate thoughts. Can you reference which state it says "...and oxygen..."?

From The Grammar Book
Rule 1

Use a semicolon in place of a period to separate two sentences where the conjunction has been left out.

There are other rules for using a semicolon but none seem to apply in this case..I assume that the conjunction that was left out was "and" because the other conjunctions don't appear to fit.

I didn't think they would just going by the application. My question was to all these people that claim they will.

Let me state I have no idea they will. I am not contracted with them.

It could just as be or. But apparently some people have called Assurity and they are saying it should be and. That said, that is one of the worst written questions ever. It is a huge run-on and should be broken up.

I believe you ended your post. Didn't previously it say that you wouldn't contract with them? May I ask why you would avoid Assurity?

No, I didn't say I would not contract with them. As far as I know they have an excellent rep as a company. I edited my post because after I posted I saw the conversation between you and JD and I wanted to make it plain I wasn't one voicing an opinion on whether they would issue or not because I am not contracted with them. I try not to open my mouth about things I know nothing about but I don't always succeed!

I was just stating my opinion as to how the app question could be interpreted.
