Asurea

If I read correctly, someone said that Asurea does not mention insurance in their lead. I have one of their leads in front of me ... Quote: "This Senior Life Insurance Program .... " I've been working with Asurea for about a year as an independent agent. I would have no qualms about recommending them.

where do these 1 post guys come from? i mean how do they magically find this forum and particular thread in order to plug their company? heck i can't find anything when i'm looking for it

Somewhere here I think Jdeasy..said that EFES is the only one that mentions insurance or their lead card. I was just reading in CA that you have to mention insurance, if not wouldn't that be unethical/wrong that is not mentioned with other company leads. That alone would make me not want to go with Asurea.

I'm contracted with Asurea and their leads cost $30 and their leads DO say "an insurance agent may contact you."

Happy selling!!

To have that kind of disclosure of "an insurance agent may contact you" and charge $30 is not too bad.

However, when you consider the reduced compensation, its an expensive lead.

An FE agent can make it on a $30 lead with a near top contract. But when it's between 90%-105%, the margin for error goes down.

Unless they do lead financing.

what's lead financing?

It means you can go and run the leads without purchasing them upfront. Then they deduct commissions from your check to pay for your "lead debt"

Lead financing can be a selling point for new agents in case you have a bad mailer with a bad response rate or just struggle selling during a stretch of leads. If you're not selling you wont have new money to purchase new leads. Lead financing makes sure you always have fresh leads to work.

As I think about this. In Asureas situation, since your paid direct by the insurance company They probably have a system where they sell you leads really cheap and give you a low contract, something like 60%. To me, this is the same principal as lead financing. However this is worse, because now your renewals are even that much lower.

I've worked for Asurea for over 12 years in all capacities (as an agent for5 of them). The company is a very fair, loyal, and rewarding company that Ifeel is dedicated and passionate about its people.

We've been working with independent agents doing leads for over 23 yearsvery successfully.

In the last 15 months we've successfully launched our independent careeragency model and have 15 offices across the country and are growing fast. We are very fortunate that it is a veryexciting time for us.
