Asurea

I spoke to a guy with Asurea the other day. He is offering me 70% contract, with sibsidized leads at $14 per lead. Honestly, based on the amount of money I have wasted so far on telemarketed leads and, to this point, a worthless DM drop, this is starting to look like a decent option to me.

Who did you speak to at Asurea? I just started with EFES but when I was interviewing different IMO's I spoke with Eric At Asurea and he offered me very fair contracts and DM leads at $28 to start and can go lower based on production. He was a straight shooter and didn't BS me at all and never spoke bad about any other IMO.

Hey there,

We have several different options and programs available to agents and agencies. What is most important to us is trying get to know the person we are talking to in order to figure out what makes the most sense to the individual agent or agency.

Everyone's situation and story is different with their own set of challenges and needs that must be met. Most of the time we can figure out a fair program that makes sense for both parties. Compensation rate, leads, lead cost...it's all relative.

I've met many people at 40-50% contracts that make a 150k+ a year. I've also met folks at 100-120% contracts that make 30k a year. I' know other people that make six figures working 30 hours a week and conversely, many many people who work 60 hours a week making 40k a year. Again, it's all relative.

It is just my humble opinion - But, I would ask yourself how much income do you want to make (be realistic yourself please) and then what specifically you are willing and capable to do (hours, territory, lead/expense budget etc...). Then ask the IMO, wholesaler, or marketer what it would take to get there if you partnered with them.

That should tell you a lot. I hope this helps.

If you want more info on Ausrea feel free to contact me at [email protected]. I've been working here for over 13 years. I'd be happy to help anyway I can.

Take care!

Here is what Asurea told me on their structure:

70% = $14.00 per lead (up to $15,000.00 avg business)
80% = $16.00 per lead (after $20,000.00 avg business)
90% = $20.00 per lead (after $30,000.00 avg business)
(averaged on quarterly basis)

The subsidized leads are a nice way to start but it looks like it will take at least 6 months before getting to 90%.

EFES sounds better (starts at 90%) but they don't have any DM territories available near me on their leads program. Has anyone tried their new tele-sales program?

That sounds fair. Just make certain there is a reasonable escape clause for you if the leads are not good. I would also want to make certain that you are never capped out at 90% once you know what you are doing. Also check out how much you are giving up in renewals.

At a 90% contract, a good agent is giving up $400 of extra commission to their upline compared to a 110% contract. And with $400 you can buy your own leads.

Taking a 70%, 80% or 90% FE contract is giving a HUGE amount of extra money to your upline if you actually make sales. Of course you aren't giving up anything if you don't make any sales.

I've been running Asurea's leads for over a year, and I'm not only happy with their leads, but happy with the company as well. Their lead people seem particularly sensitive to to the agents needs.

I had Asurea send me their lead.. It's all about... "Just fill in this card and we'll send you a free... discount drug card"

sorry guys but I believe that a lead based on some free gimmick is not the best lead available.. and it's $28 a pop... and their starting contract level isn't the best...

Atleast EFES's doesn't do that... and a NEW agent can get his first batch of leads for about $21 and then $24 until the PPL is figured... and then he can get a lead for under $20

Looking over the Asurea leads that are on my desk, I find 3 different formats. one of which talks about the Rx card. I personally don't care how the lead comes in, as long as it makes it quite clear that this is an life insurance program.
I'm not sure what a 'silent recruiter' is, but I have no other affiliation with Asurea, (or any other IMO), except to put my paper through them.
