Best IMO for a Newbie?

I am with an IMO that has phenomenal leadership, training and top commissions paid with multiple carriers. You will have the freedom to be your own boss and define your own income. You can enter into the company with no sales experience at all. You make your hours and sale as little or as much as you choose to. You can inbox me if you have any questions. I love MP to get me in the door for other areas to help families!

I'm assuming you're talking to NAA or one of it's spin offs (SFG, Equis, etc). They're notorious for crap comp levels (usually ~60%) so they can pay the 8 levels above you where if you weren't involved in a pyramid scheme you'd probably make almost twice as much.

New agents should focus on product knowledge and learning the business, NOT recruiting, or they won't do either well. I've spent plenty of time in the Ra Ra sessions of these MLMs and it's funny how many "testimonies" I've heard from stage only to later find out that the agents weren't actually making anything. The companies pimp their stories out and there's a lot of cultish pressure to "keep the good vibes going". The real secret of these companies is they've realized many people will accept feeling good instead of money, at least for a time. That's why these outfits are referred to as masses of asses models.

Having said that, I'd expect a good company to pay a new agent 80-100% comp if they require regular support. From my limited experience, Family First Life is the only MP IMO that does this.

I wouldn't work with any IMO that encouraged recruiting above production. It's a recipe for failure.

Just an FYI. SFG is rebranding their online presence & they’ve removed all mention of “Symmetry Financial Group” or “SFG Life” from their recruiting websites...

Yeah, nobody will figure that out. When will companies realize that Google favors Insurance-forums over YouTube in relevant searches? Insurance people are known for being the analytic type.

Hi:
I was searching for recommendations on IMOs for new agents and came upon your post. I know this is an old post but if you get this, I am curious about your suggestions.

Thanks,

What he or she said! I too am in MD and have been licensed for about a year and looking to go independent. I am with a captive term only company and they want me to recruit versus sell policies. Well I did not do that hard class only to recruit. I WANT TO LEARN THE BUSINESS AND STOP BEING THE BLIND LEADING THE BLIND. I am considering Family First Life. Any suggestions? Training is key for me as well. I also have a full time job but I have a few days a week open. Help!!

FFL is a great outfit if you’re interested in selling term. David Duford has some great training and contracts if you’d rather do final expense. You can PM me if you have any questions about my experiences with either.
