He was using a fake name.

Well, I did tell him that he would not make it in this business very long.

Im an independent producer that is looking to become captive...I know that sounds crazy but I have numerous reasons that Id rather not disclose at the moment. I made 288k last year alittle more then half of that was profit; I was MDRT COT several years in row now. Any advice on were I could earn close to 150k first year as a captive. I would prefer the senior market.

I would appreciate if only those relatively successful in the biz reply with advice.

I'm gonna reply on the basis of prorating my 1st week. Go with FE.

So you did good! I'm happy for you, have been reading your posts since I will hopefully be licensed in a few weeks and trying to decide whether to start with Med Supps or FE.

Please do tell!

I am on pace to make $24,000. It will be my best year yet. Now I can finally move my trailer to a permanent spot in a field behind my mom's house.

Why not do both? For the most part, you're going to be seeing people over age 65, so why not be able to help them in both areas?

I just don't get why agents think they should do one or the other. They go hand in hand!
