Climate Change

We get on cruise ships and marvel at the glaciers. We watch TV shows such as Gold Rush and marvel at the gold deposits.
We would not have gold in the streams or ships in Glacier Bay unless there was warming since the last ice age. The Earth is in a slightly elliptical orbit, in a solar system that is in an elliptical orbit. Change happens

Let me specify what I meant (sometimes I forget the type of people I am talking to), "Man-Made Climate Change" is a loony-bin conspiracy theory that only the lowest IQ and most gullible individuals believe.

This thread belongs in the trash. Or at the very least, in the "Non-insurance" section of the forum.

Ok, I've changed my mind.

Well, I agree... well then again no I don't... perhaps maybe I should care, but why? And if I did, how does that change anything?
Well I wasn't necessarily referring to climate change theory per say, I more so meant how it will affect commercial insurance, and possibly the sales of it.

Well aren't you just a ray of sunshine. I was focusing more towards commerical insurance in the future, and what it could mean for it's sales. Is this a better question: Should I Start Selling Commercial Insurance If There Might Be A Huge Loss Due To Many Claims From Weather Damages, etc.?

Right, that's the loony-bin conspiracy theory. Not the nonsense claims that climate researchers made up anthropogenic climate change for some huge payout. Not the claims that the 97% consensus that humans are contributing to climate change is somehow a conspiracy in itself; that 97% of scientists who study climate at the highest level, for various independent entities, all got together to play a prank on the world. Imagine being an insurance agent and thinking you know more than the people who have studied this stuff for years, decades. Yes, I'm appealing to authority here...real authority. Keep funneling propaganda down your gullet, bud. Your children might be fine, but this is the type of head-in-the-sand ignorance that will leave your grandchildren a grim dystopia.
