Close Ratio As an Independent?

well, if you are with the biggest captive...10% is acceptable. how sad is that?

If that is your true closing ratio...then you should concentrate on the clients you have since your rates are out there. No sense in bringing new policy if you have 20 going out from the back door!

Agent Equity/Any Vet.:
I'm a newly starting Independent; and we seem to share the same mindset; may i ask what was your number that you sold im assuming your BOB?
I dont want to get into the mindset of planning to get out before i dive in, because we all know how dangerous that can be... But the logical side of me says that there has to be a means to an ends so to speak? Idk just jotting down whats on my mind.
I to share the entrepenural spirit and feel i just need a solid bankroll 250k+ to basically be able to flip off that (equities, option leap strategies, poker torunaments LOL etc..)
Idk do you have any advice for a new independent agent like me, besides work hard lol.
Any input would be appreciated... Thanks, Eric
